Our face mask is handmade in South Africa from African fabric to depict the specific plight of Black people during this coronavirus pandemic. And it’s just fly. A youth face mask/filter is not meant to replace the industry recommended N95 mask, but they have been proven to help block airborne particulates such as dust, pollution, bacteria & viruses.

As of 4/28/2020 these states have mandatory mask laws: Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas. More states will be following suit soon.

The youth face mask is machine washable but we recommend washing on a gentle cycle or hand-washing it so the straps don’t get caught on anything. The filter should be replaced every 48-72 hours, or possibly sooner for heavier use. We do not recommend washing the filter. For sanitary reasons, we do not accept returns of face masks.
