These masks/filters are not meant to replace the industry recommended N95 masks, but they have been proven to help block airborne particulates such as dust, pollution, bacteria & viruses.
As of now (4/28/2020) these states have mandatory mask laws: Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas. More states will be following suit soon.
The mask is machine washable but we recommend washing on a gentle cycle or hand-washing it so the straps don’t get caught on anything. The filter should be replaced every 48-72 hours, or possibly sooner for heavier use. We do not recommend washing the filter. For sanitary reasons, we do not accept returns of face masks.
